Births:

Situated just opposite the Maternity Unit at Torbay Hospital, Make It Special is ideally situated for the last minute purchase when you visit the new Mum.  Of couse if there is time you can order a special display, bouquet or flower basket, but if it happens rather more quickly than expected then don't think you have to go empty handed.  We are there for you.  And of course the welcome home gift is always greatly appreciated.

Get Well Soon:

Attached to the Maternity wing is the Torbay Hospital.  If you are visiting a friend of relative who is in the hospital why not cheer them up with a floral gift bouquet, basket or other floral item to show them just how much you care.  Situated just across the road from the hospital we are there to help you choose just the right gift for them.

Funerals: 

Whilst we have normally dealt with the happier end of design, weddings, we were approached by one of our ex wedding clients to help them with some innovative designs for a friends funeral.  We were a little hesitant but as it turns out if you are good at design then the same skills and taste go into the final tributes as the celebratory ones.  From that we were asked to do others, and of course now that we have our own wholesale and retail shop we have many more designs and options for you to view, and one of our staff, an instore florist is an expert at these elements.

We can provide the traditional bouquets, wreaths and standard tributes, and with just a little more time we can work with you on bespoke designs as well.  Funerals are often a celebration of a life well lived and those personal touches can make all the difference.

Situated just round the corner from the Torquay Cemetary and Crematorium we are also very handy for the last minute stop if you have been unable to get your tribute earlier.  Please note that is does take a little while for even the simplest design.
